This document contains step-by-step process to debug line speed issues.
For DSL and EFM Line Speed Issues
- Confirm the Speed that your DSL line is connected to us. This will tell you the maximum transmission that the line is going to handle, based upon current sync speeds of your DSL or EFM loop. To do this go to How to check your DSL and EFM line speed
- Run a Bandwidth or Speed_Testing
- The most common problem that we see when there are connection speed issues is that the Ethernet Port Duplex and Speed Settings are not set correctly.
