ACD has an Network Neutrality and Open Access Policy because we believe networks are best experienced when you can connect to the most locations. ACD will interconnect with any other provider at any technically or economically feasable point.

Where to Interconnect

For a list of our readily available interconnection points, click here. Central Office Interconnection Points. ACD may charge fees to interconnect at these points, dependant on location. We may charge fees if we have to transport traffic to locations on your behalf. For costs, please email sales@acd.net

General Technical Specifications

ACD needs to know the port speed for Interconnection. Please select the port speed desired below:

  • T1
  • Multiple T1
  • T3
    • Select either:
      • Packet over Sonet (preferred)
      • ATM
  • OC-3
    • Select either:
      • Packet over Sonet Single Mode Fiber (preferred)
      • ATM
  • Ethernet 10mb/s
    • ACD accepts a copper Cat5/Cat6 Interface
  • Ethernet 100mb/s
    • ACD accepts a copper Cat5/Cat6 Interface
  • Ethernet Gigabit
    • Select Either
      • Copper Cat6 Interface
      • Fiber Single Mode Interface LX Optics

Technical Specifications for Interconnecting Secure Wide Area Networks

Please specify:

  • MPLS-Provider Edge
  • MPLS-Ethernet
  • Quantity of VLANs and VLAN-ID's
  • Test Vlan is required, please provide the vlan ID.
  • List of IP subnets that ACD is expected to point to the other provider's network.
  • Please provide contact information for the end-user customer if for Wide Area Network
  • Will this WAN be carrying voice traffic?
  • Will this WAN be carrying 911 traffic?

Technical Specifications for Internet Peering

  • Please specify whom your current backbone providers are.
  • Please specify the current capacity of your backbone.
  • Please provide the IP address of your BGP servers if not directly interconnected.
  • Please define IPV4 and/or IPV6 Peering.

Technical Specifications for the exchange of Phone Traffic

  • Please specify your OCN
  • Please specify your phone switch type and brand.
  • Please specify if you want IP interconnection or TDM interconnection.

The following document is required to be available to ACD to authorize ACD to route your IP Blocks and Autonomous System Number through our network if you have BGP Service with ACD.net

SAMPLE LETTER - MUST BE ON YOUR LETTER HEAD - PLEASE PDF THIS FILE AND SEND TO SUPPORT@ACD.NET, OR UPLOAD ONTO YOU CUSTOMER RECORD THROUGH HTTPS://MYACCOUNT.ACD.NET. This letter should originate from the Network or Administrative Contact



Letter of Authority to Route Traffic

Our Autonomous System Number is: (put your ARIN autonomous system number here).
Our IP Blocks are: (put your ARIN assigned IP blocks, please list them all).
