ACD.net Webmail Setup
Unencrypted Setup for e-mail clients
- Username: This will be your full email address with @acd.net(or applicable domain) at the end.
- Password: Make sure it's right!
- Incoming Server: This is normally mail.acd.net on port 110
- Outgoing Server: This is normally smtp.acd.net on port 25.
- Outgoing server needs to authenticate(log in with UN PW info).
IMAP Configuration - allows users to store their email on remote servers. This two-way protocol also allows the user to synchronize their email among many devices.
- Username: This will be your full email address with @acd.net(or applicable domain) at the end.
- Password: Make sure it's right!
- Incoming Server: This is normally mail.acd.net on port 993 SSL.
- Outgoing Server: This is normally smtp.acd.net on port 465 SSL.
- Outgoing Server: Use the same settings as incoming mail server.
POP3 Configuration - POP simply downloads email to your computer, and usually (but not always) deletes the email from the remote server.
